Ceramic Post Insulator
SAA Grid offers the most comprehensive range of porcelain line post insulator up to highest AC and DC system voltages with the most progressive technology, engineering and life time. Short production time, tighter tolerances, flexible design, extra-high mechanical strength and extended creepage distances are possible by isostatic process.
● Ceramic Post Insulator Application:
Used for insulating and fixing wires in high voltage overhead transmission and distribution lines;
● Advantage:
1.Solid and puncture-proof: Being in an atmospheric space and exposed to pollution, rain, and other natural phenomena make them at risk of being damaged due to punctures.
2.Flexible creepage distance: The post insulators should have a reasonable creepage distance that will not endanger the integrity of the insulating path. This distance shields against tracking.
3.High mechanical strength: Post insulators are exposed to compressive, torsional and bending forces on a daily basis. Therefore, the insulator must have high mechanical properties to overcome these forces, otherwise it will just collapse and be more expensive to replace.
Ceramic insulator has good chemical and thermal stability, almost no aging deterioration, and has good electrical and mechanical properties;
